Troy “Jeff” Woods

CEO | Owner

Jeff started his career in the financial services industry as an agent with New York Life in 1999. It was in that first year that Jeff started to work with Bob Hall Sr. on large estate planning cases.

In 2008, after nearly seven years in management with New York Life as a partner in The Eastern Washington General Office, Jeff decided to transition back to helping clients directly as a financial professional and started working full time with the Halls at Hall Financial. As successor to the Halls, Jeff is committed to the core principles that have been the foundation of our office since 1964.

Honesty, creativity and a commitment to excellence keeping Hall Financial at the pinnacle of our industry.

William “Bill” T. Hays

Financial Services Professional

William (Bill) Hays joined New York Life as an agent in 2007. His work focuses on Retirement Income Planning, Social Security planning strategies and Tax-Advantaged Mutual Fund investing. Mr. Hays holds a Masters Degree in Financial Services from American College of Financial Services and is recognized as a Retirement Income Certified Professional designation, as well. He is a Life Member of the Million Dollar Round Table and has been recognized as a New York Life Council member for the last 15 years*.

Bill has been married to Sandra for 39 years and has two adult children, Justine and Clint. He is an active member of the Monsignor John A. Ecker Foundation Board of Trustees and is a parishioner at St. Paul Cathedral Church.

*Council is an annual company recognition based on sales performance between July 1-June 30. Bill has achieved Executive Council 2008-2013, 2019 and President's Council 2014-2018, 2020-2021. Joanna Wiggins-Hedstrom

Chief Operating Officer | Office Manager

I am the Chief Operating Officer and Office Manager at Hall Financial. My career began in 2002 working directly with Bob Hall Sr., Bob Hall Jr. and Fred Anderson. I am tasked with overseeing the day to day administrative and operational functions at Hall Financial. It is my goal to create a firm foundation for each client relationship. I strive for quality customer service with every client’s best interest in mind. In my spare time I enjoy spending time in the outdoors with my husband, Perry, and our two grown daughters; either on our boat or camping.

Lucia D. Solis Yera

Agent | Bilingual | Employee Benefits Specialist

I have been an Agent with NYL for over 6 years and graduated from Heritage University with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration. I love to help individuals, families and business owners create retirement plans for themselves and their employees.

I also am prolific in Educational Planning, Life Insurance, Long Term Care, Disability Insurance and Estate and Retirement Planning. I am specialized in providing Group Term Insurance, Employee Whole Life Insurance, and Group benefits. I work with different Latino organizations around the area to provide information about their business and how to leave a legacy for their families and their community. I love to give back to my community and have been a member of the Yakima Safety Coalition for three years and do volunteer classes for Heritage University and Yakima College.

Yerania Espindola - Mendoza's

I started my career with New York Life Insurance Company as a college intern in 2008. After graduating in 2011, I decided to pursue my true passion in educating and helping my community achieve their life goals. Working with finances is not always what it seems. As someone who bases their career choice of helping others and providing higher quality life options, I am always pleased to inform individuals of the many ways my services can ensure a more secure future for them and their loved ones.

It excites me to experience our individuality as human beings and yet the similarity that at the end of the day, we all want the same thing in life, to create a future worth looking forward to. I decided to learn English and put myself through college because I wanted to accomplish something that I knew would establish a positive impact in anything that I do. Have I achieved that? Absolutely. I am bringing hope, and knowledge with one simple action plan that will be beneficial to my clients. When I am entrusted with helping you create a better journey, “What matters to you is what matters to me”.

Felissa Woods

Public Relations Director

Prior to joining our staff, Felissa had worked as a New York Life agent and also founded a non profit organization. Felissa now brings her many talents and abilities as well as her winning personality to the Hall Financial team.

As the public relations director, Felissa is expanding Hall Financial’s influence in the business community of the Columbia Basin.

Holly White

Office Assistant

Holly White is originally from Central Oregon and moved to Sunnyside five years ago to be with her Fiance’ Glenn and his two daughters. She has a background in Real Estate and Banking, along with managing two small companies before moving here.

Holly joined Hall Financial as our Office Assistant One in 2021 and is the first face you see when you walk through the door. She always has a smile on and welcomes everyone on a first name basis, so they feel at home and have an experience to remember.
